I used to write much more than these days

This is actually a lie, as I write A LOT, mostly on WhatsApp. Jokes apart, I used to show and publish my work much more than these days but in 2022 I want to go back to do more of that. So here are some old writings

I've found on my hard disk. Some of them have more than 10 years. That is why I love them: raw and wonky.

This report I wrote when I was living in Mozambique back in 2012. As usual, I've ran out of cash and got myself an agency job, but I kept writing on my free time: early mornings, evenings, weekends, all my free time. This was a very interesting phase as I had a love of creative and mental freedom, but I was also enjoying the process of learning and giving some depth to my writing.

To do this work, I had to wake up at 3am, and drive with the photographer outside Maputo, so we would not miss not a bit of the ceremony. To be fair, I can pretend this all came naturally to me but assisting to all of this from the first row was not easy for my 20-something-years-old me. Anyway, I will leave the rest of the report published at Sol newspaper here - they were the only Portuguese national newspaper in Mozambique back then.

Will try to post more of my old work over the next few weeks, as I feel they are an important part of my journey both as a writer and a human that wants to give voice to who is a bit shy. Including myself.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed creating it.
